We don’t always get to choose 

    our circumstances. 
But we do get to choose our response. 
 

Worship And Thanks

Worship is the "Thank You” 

    that refuses to be silenced.
 

Always Giving Thanks For Everything - Ephesians 5:19-20

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns 

    and spiritual songs.
Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,  
always giving thanks to God the Father 

    for everything, 
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
 

The Things To Do

* Do Not Fret
* Do the Next Thing
* Accept with Joy
* Keep a Quiet Heart
* Fix Your Eyes on Jesus
* Trust in the Lord with all Your Heart, and
* Lean Not on Your Own Understanding
 

Instruct, Teach, Counsel and Watch Over - Psalm 32:8

I will instruct you and teach you 

        in the way you should go;
    I will counsel you and watch over you.
 

Standing Against The Wind

Many trees stood firm in the face 

    of a strong wind.  
And the Lord is teaching us how to be  

        like those trees, 
    one lesson at a time.  
I sometimes think about the trees in the mall, 
    which are very weak because they have no wind to stand against.  
And the strongest and oldest trees are those 
    gnarled bristlecone pine trees on 

         the tops of mountains, 
            where the wind is strong.  
I don't like the wind, 
    but I want to be made stronger.
 

Wait For The Lord

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
    and in His word I put my hope.
My soul waits for the LORD

Wait for the LORD;
    be strong and take heart
    and wait for the LORD.
                                                                       - Psalm 27:14

Be strong and take heart,
    all you who hope in the LORD.
                                                                       - Psalm 31:24
 

My Strength And My Song

 
The LORD is my strength and my song; 
   He has become my salvation.

                             - Exodus  15:2, Psalm 118:14, Isaiah 12:2
 

I Remember - Psalm 143:5-6,8

I remember the days of long ago;
    I meditate on all Your works
    and consider what Your hands have done.
I spread out my hands to You;
    my soul thirsts for You like a parched land.

Let the morning bring me word of 

         Your unfailing love,
    for I have put my trust in You.
Show me the way I should go,
    for to You I lift up my soul.
 

I Will Remember - Psalm 77:11-12,19

I will remember the deeds of the LORD;
