Many trees
stood firm in the face of a strong wind.
And the Lord is teaching us how to be
like those trees,
one lesson at a time.
I sometimes think about the trees in
the mall,
which are very weak because they have no wind to stand against.
And
the strongest and oldest trees are those
gnarled bristlecone pine trees on
the
tops of mountains,
where the wind is strong.
I don't like the wind,
but I want
to be made stronger.
