Lessons from a Bird Store

Life can be like this....

You're hanging out 

          with your friends, 

    having a fun time 

          in familiar surroundings, 

    and then suddenly WHAM!  

You're caught in a situation 

          like in a net, 

    and plunged into darkness.  

You are boxed in and can't get out, 

    and then you are grabbed and 

        find yourself in a 

            completely different 

                  and foreign situation.  

You can't understand 

        what happened and why 

              or where you are.  

There's no way for you

             to understand, 

    except by faith, 

        that the "terrible" events 

           were lovingly orchestrated 

               for your greatest good.

Such is it with the loving hand 

             of the Lord, 

    who places us in situations 
        beyond our comprehension.

Everything is filtered 
    through Fingers of Love.
