God Is Faithful

The enemy wants me to be mad at God
       for doing "evil" toward me.
The enemy wants me to think that I can't trust
     a horrible monster-God like that 
          who does such "evil" things to me.

But what does God's Word 
     say about evil?

He did evil in the eyes of the Lord
Keep your tongue from evil
Turn from evil and do good
Turn! Turn from your evil ways!
Seek good, not evil
Hate evil, love good
Your eyes are too pure to look on evil
Deliver us from the evil one
Light has come into the world, 

     but men loved 
        darkness instead of light because 
              their deeds were evil
For what I do in not the good 

              I want to do; no, 
        the evil I do not want to do ~ 
             this I keep on doing
Hate what is evil; cling to 

              what is good
Do not be overcome by evil, 
        but overcome evil with good
Love does not delight in evil
Our struggle is against the 

                spiritual forces
         of evil in the heavenly realms
Avoid every kind of evil
God cannot be tempted by evil
The face of the Lord is against 
        those who do evil
