THIS Is What I Was Made For!

Said the caterpillar,
    contemplating the coming death 
        to its way of life in the cocoon:
"I'm afraid of the change –
    I've never been a butterfly before."

Said the butterfly soaring above:
    "The old ground-crawling life  
         was just the beginning.

    THIS is what I was made for!"
